Central University of Kashmir Distance Education?: As per the UGC guidelines, the Central University of Kashmir doesn’t provide distance learning courses. Admissions for the regular courses were open for the 2024 July session and the last date was June 10, 2024. The entrance test is required for admission. Through the University’s official website: https://www.cukashmir.ac.in/, interested candidates can submit the required documents and registration fees of Rs. 500 to 1,000.

Central University of Kashmir Distance Education Admission?

The Central University of Kashmir was established by the Central government in 2009. The Indian central government runs the university. It is accredited by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and offers courses in education, arts, commerce, arts, and management, among others. Students who wish to pursue courses at the Central University of Kashmir must pass the CUCET qualifying test. 

Some regular courses are, BCA, LLB, BBA, BA Sociology, MTech, MCA, and MBA To be eligible for admission, applicants must score at least 45% to 50% marks in 12th for UG and 50% marks in graduation for PG programs. The annual fee ranges from INR 22,000 to 40,000 per year for various courses and the duration of these courses ranges from 2 to 4 years depending on the program.

The Central University Of Kashmir Distance Education UG Admission?

B.Ed.

• At the graduation level, the University offers distance education for B.Ed. courses. The duration of this course is about two years.
• This University annually admits students to its distance B.Ed. program for about 3600 seats.
• The overall course fee for distance B.Ed. is INR 14,850.
• Eligibility that is required for this course is passing 10+2 from a known board or institute.

BA Urdu & Hindi 

• Candidates must have a valid degree of clearing 10th+12th intermediate to register for the UG Courses.
• Candidates must have learned Urdu or Hindi languages in their previous classes.

BA Sanskrit & Tamil

• Applicants with a backdrop of Tamil or Sanskrit language in education can apply for the course.
• Applicants are to have cleared their +2 from the recognized University.

Central University Of Kashmir Distance Education PG Admission?

MA:

• A two-year Master of Arts program in distance mode is offered here.
• This University provides Distance MA admissions in almost 6 specializations and the number of seats varies depending on the chosen specialization.
• Admissions to Distance MA are merit-based, students will need to have a graduation degree.

MSc

• The Central University of Kashmir Distance Education has an overall intake range of 200 students for a two-year MSc program in Mathematics.
• Applicants should have completed a BSc or BA with Mathematics as being among the core subjects and received a minimal level of 40% marks under the 10+2+3 pattern.

MCom

• Applicants must have completed the BCom or equivalent degree in commerce stream and achieved the minimum score of 40% marks in a recognized board/institute to take admission in University.

LLM

• LLB or integrated courses such as BA LLB, BBA LLB, or B.Com LLB are acceptable for entry.
• Candidates are to have cleared their degree from a recognized University with good scores.

MBA

• Students who cleared their BBA, BA, or bachelor’s degrees in any field can opt for this course.
• Students who have cleared their UG Diploma after 12th grade can also apply if they have relevant scores.

Central University of Kashmir Eligibility Criteria

CU Kashmir has designed the eligibility criteria for undergraduate and postgraduate, it is an important section for regular programs admission. That should be completed by the candidate for admission. The following criteria steps are given below.

• Complete 10+2 from the recognized board for UG admissions.
• Obtain 50 to 60 percent marks in 10+2 for the UG program.
• 10th + Diploma clearance with 3 yrs for UG entries.
• 10th with a certificate of value for UG course entries.
• Bachelor’s clearance from the recognized university for PG entries.
• Masters clearance for MPhil entries in CUK. 

Central University of Kashmir Integrated courses

BSc + MSc Physics

• The CUK offers BSc + MSc Physics integrated Courses.
• The duration of this course is a minimum of 5 Years.
• The students have to pass the entrance test to enroll and confirm admission to this course.

While completing the application form, students must pay the application fee. The University collects INR 500 to INR 1200 application fees for students. Before paying the application fee, students must double-check all the information on the application form. When submitting an application for admission to the university, you must pay the application fee with a debit/credit card or through Internet banking.

• After login, upload a passport-sized photograph (in jpeg, jpg, or png format, not more than 50Kb) and fill out all the required fields.
• Pay Admission Fees by clicking on “Pay Admission Fee Online“.
• Fill out the Fee Details generated in Step 3 and click SUBMIT/CREATE

The study material for distance education courses can be found on the official website of the university. E-study portal is available for the study material @egov.uok.edu.in/eLearningDistance/. Students will get access to UG and PG course study material online.

Central University Of Kashmir Distance Education Application Form?

As we mentioned above for the academic session 2024 Central University is not offering any program under distance mode, hence students can apply for regular courses only.
